Excess liquidity in India’s banking system returns to pre-Covid levels
Worried about inflationary pressures in the economy, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is rapidly reducing excess liquidity in the system. It has fallen to pre-Covid levels and to almost 2% of banks’ net sight and term liabilities (NDTL).
